It was time for the annual school fundraiser. Here is what we did. We uploaded the school logo to YouCake and requested they design 25 school logo slices on the frosting sheet edible cake topper. Our local bakery ostrovitsky.com put the topper on the cake for us. At the school we followed the cake cut lines and sold each PS52 slice for $2.

Top tip on how we decorated these brownies:
We took a bag of Wilton white chocolate candy melts. A full proof double-boiler method is to put one inch of water in a pan with a bowl placed on top (water must not touch the top of the double boiler). When the water boils, turn off the burner and take the pot off the heat source. Add, a tsp of vegetable oil to one bag of melts as indicated on the package, add the candy melts and just keep stirring until all the melts are dissolved.
Then, we spooned the melted white chocolate over the dessert. With dry hands, removed the backing of the edible frosting sheet and place on the melted chocolate. Pat flat to remove any air bubbles and make the topper flush with the chocolate – the pinky finger seems to have the perfect pressure for this technique.
Let dry and it is ready to serve.

While my friend Deb was visiting, we made brownies and decided to custom decorate the brownies using melted white chocolate – easy and yum! I like using melted white chocolate, the topper sets as soon as the white chocolate dries and is simpler to transport.
To begin, melt the chocolate according to the packaging. We used Nestle white chocolate morsels, which are available at any supermarket. Follow the direction on the packaging. Since our microwave did not allow us to lower the power, we used the double-boiler and followed these instructions exactly for melting white chocolate and it worked perfectly.
Once the white chocolate is melted spread the melted chocolate on the brownie – or any cookie you are want to decorate.
